  1. Origin

– Jelly was selected from a combination of Solara/47.

– It was introduced into production according to the Document No. 330/VCLT-KH dated October 9, 2024, and posted on the database of the Department of Crop Production, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on October 9, 2024.

– Authors: Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Nguyen Thi Nhung, Ngo Thi Hue, Nguyen Dinh Khang, Le Kim Thanh, Hoang Thi Duyen, Ta Thi Hang.

  1. Agronomic characteristics

– Growth duration (80-85 days).

– Long oval tuber shape, shallow eyes, yellow tuber skin, yellow flesh.

– Resistant of late blight (score: 3), slight infection of aphid, mite, thrip, virus, bearing resistance genes R1 and R2 (identified by molecular markers BA213C14t7 and STM3016).

– Yield (21.02 – 23.34 ton/ha), dry matter content (18.9-19.2%), starch content (13.4-16.5%), good eating quality (score 2), good for fresh eating.
