INBRED RICE GIA LOC 601
1.Origin
- Gia Loc 601 was selected from a mutation population of LC93-1.
- The variety was introduced into production according to Decision No. 42/QD-TT-CLT dated January 23, 2024 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
2.Agronomic characteristics
– Growth duration: 131-140 days in spring season and 99-109 days in summer season.
– Plant heigh (96.6 – 107.4 cm), vigorous growth, moderate and uniform tillering, high density of panicles, high effective panicle, medium panicle, slender and long seed, bright yellow seed, high rate of grain filling.
– 1000- seed weight (22.1-24.9 g), amylose content (27.7-30.7%); high ratio of brown grain, milled grain and whole grain; cooked rice is white, shiny, soft, very hard, and light aroma.
– High resistance to bast, sheath blight; slightly susceptible to bacterial blight and brown plant hopper.
– Yield: 66.6-77.7 quintals/ha in spring, 53-60 quintals/ha in summer, and 58.7-65.1 quintals/ha in summer-autumn season.3. Contact
