- Origin
– VT09 is developed from the combination of TL67/DL07.
– The variety was introduced into production according to the Document No. 234/VCLT-KH dated July 27, 2021 of the Field Crops Research Institute.

- Agronomic characteristics
– Vigorous growth and development.
– Growth duration (90-100 days), first harvesting (42-48 days), fruiting period (30-40 days), branching (3.3-4.5 branches/plant).
– Dark green fruit skin, white spikes, long fruit (20.2 – 22.3 cm), fruit diameter (3.2-3.5 cm), fruit weight (149-163 gram/fruit).
– High yield (44.57-50.11 tons/ha) in both spring – summer and autumn – winter seasons, good quality.
– Good resistant to downy mildew.
– Adaptable for Red River Delta and Northern Mountain regions.
