- Origin
– HDR7 is an inbred rice variety selected by pedigree method from a hybrid combination.
– The variety was introduced into production according to Decision No. 24/QD-TT-CLT dated January 22, 2025 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

- Agronomic characteristics
– Growth duration: 126-138 days in spring season and 101-112 days in summer season.
– Plant height (91.8-128.2 cm), vigorous growth, uniform tillering, high density of panicles, high filled grain ratio.
– 1000-seed weight (21.6-26.7 g), amylose content (14.98-16.26 %)
– Yield: 54.20-71.02 quintals/ha
