- Origin
– DT34 was selected from a bookcrossing combination of (ĐT26/William 82)/DT2008
– The variety was temporarily introduced into production in the Northern provinces according to the Decision No. 464/QD-TT-CLT dated December 31, 2019 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development
– It was also introduced into production according to the Decision No. 371/VCLT-KH dated November 16, 2020 of the Field Crops Research Institute.
- Agronomic characteristics
– Growth duration (90-95 days), 1000-seed weight (170 – 200 g), yield (21.0 – 26.8 quintals/ha in winter season; 26.1-30.2 quintals/ha in spring and summer seasons), protein content (44.8%), lipid content (20.4%). The variety can be grown in three growing seasons per year: spring, summer, winter season.
– Good resistance to powdery mildew, good lodging resistance.
