SWEET POTATO KB1

1.    Origin

KB1 are selected from natural crosses of the mother Regal imported from from the USA in 1993. It has been officially introducing to production according to Decision No. 5310 / QD-BNN—KHCN dated November 29, 2002.

2.    Major morphology and varietal characteristics

– KB1 has vine plant type with light green -heart -shape -leaves

– KB1 tubers are quite uniform with yellow tuber skin color and white starch.

– Average yield of 15-30 tons/ha, higher than the control varieties by 20-40% with good eating quality.
