Dao vang is a jujube that was developed by mutant breeding. Daovang has been registered as national variety in 1998.
2. Major morphology and varietal characteristics
– Daovang has strong growth and development capacity. Good fruit set and earliest variety, main harvest season is December.
– Average yield: 7-8 ton (first year) 10-12 ton (second year) and 20-25 ton (third year). 20-25 fuits/kg; Fruit price is higher than other jujube.
– High quality, oval shape, fruit index I=H/D (high/diameter) = 1.27, bight orange color when ripened and good flavor.
