INBRED RICE HD11

1. Origin

– HD11 was selected from a hybrid combination of HDT8/Tequing.

– The variety was introduced into production according to Decision No. 314/QD-TT-CLT, dated December 8, 2020 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

– Authors: Duong Xuan Tu, Tong Thi Huyen, Tang Thi Diep, Pham Thien Thanh, Le Thi Thanh, Nguyen Trong Khanh et al.

2. Agronomic characteristics

– HD11 is a heat-sensitive variety, widely adaptable.

– Growth duration: 134 – 135 days in spring season and 110 days in summer season.

– Moderate tillering ability, plant height (116-121 cm), number of grains per panicle (166-185 seeds), 1000-seed weight (23.0-24.7 grams), grain length (6.34-6.44 mm), milling ratio (69.27-72.3%), amylose content (17.04-18.4%), fragrant (3.2-3.3), delicious (3.0-3.6).

– Average harvested yield 63.35-70.5 quintals/ha in spring season, 54.72-60.6 quintals/ha in summer season.

– Good resistance to pests and diseases, good lodging resistance.
