- Origin
– HYT122 was developed from a combination of AMS 35S/R100.
– The variety was introduced into production according to the Decision No. 5157/QD-BNN-TT dated December 31, 2019 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
- Agronomic characteristics
– Growth duration: 125 – 130 days in late spring season and 102 – 105 days in early summer season.
– Plant height (100-110 cm), good lodging resistance, good resistance to pests and diseases.
– Yield: 73.2 – 84.1 quintals/ha in spring season, 67,8 – 78,3 quintals/ha in summer season.
– 1000-seed weight (27.5 – 29g), deliciousness (score 4), light fragrant, brown rice ratio (80%), milling ratio (65.8%), whole grain ratio (50.3%), amylose (17%), high gelatinization temperature.
