1. Origin
Authors: Hybrid Rice Research and Development Center, FCRI.
HYT92, a three line hybrid rice developed from 25A/PM3, was introduced to production in February 2006.
2. Major morphology and varietal characteristics
– Growth duration: 130-135 (DS); 110-112 (WS)
– Plant height: 95-100cm, high tiller number, green leaf
– Average yield: 7.0-7.5 tons/ha (DS), 6.5-7.0 tons/ha (WS),
– HYT92 has good eating quality , soft and aromatic. It was registed exclusive brand Thienhuong HYT92.
