Functions
The Division has the function of researching, applying, providing services in biotechnology, physiology, biochemistry, and post-harvest technology in breeding, preservation and processing of field crop products.
Tasks

  1. Research and application of biotechnology in breeding and developing of crop varieties, preservation and processing of field crop products;
  2. Research and application of plant physiology – biochemistry for breeding, preservation and processing of field crop products;
  3. Analyzing, inspecting and testing the quality of field crop products;
  4. Research, application of preservation and processing technology for agricultural products;
  5. Consulting, training human resources and implementing international cooperation in the fields of biotechnology, physiology, biochemistry, preservation and processing of agricultural products.
  6. Transferring and servicing of science and technology in the fields of biotechnology, physiology, biochemistry, preservation and processing of agricultural products.
